AD visit, Part 3 . . . Metrographe
After drooling over the Toric and Tonda PF Skeleton, I made my way to the pre-owned case and found this little gem, the Metrographe chronograph.
The Metrographe was Parmigiani's entry level chronograph introduced in c. 2014. It's powered by the PF315 caliber with 42 hours of power beating at 4 Hz. It is the predecessor movement to the excellent 5 Hz movement in the current chronograph range of the brand.
This Metrographe caught my eye with its lovely pistachio dial and the excellent bracelet (most of the Metrographe watches came with straps). The bracelet is unique in that the center links are titanium while the outside links (and case) are stainless steel. It felt wonderful on the wrist.
I will admit to being sorely tempted.

No offense taken and your criticism is valid.
Although tempted by this Metrographe, there are certainly aspects of it that I find less than ideal, including the lack of subdial symmetry and the odd luminescent rings around the subdials. Thanks for the comment.
I’m not sure about this one.
It’s just not a good design (dial). Doesn’t work for me at all, and I would wonder how successful of a watch it was (in terms of sales). It’s one of those that would be very hard to dispose of if you needed or wanted to. That said, everyone’s eye is diffe...
