A rare pair of rare pairs
It begins with two gentlemen picking up the 5970P....
The 5970P has a very stark look, almost un-Patek in its colour scheme. It is a handsome watch nonetheless and the platinum case gives it a nice heft that Pateks tend to lack.
Then we see the rare pair of rare pairs. Two Vianney Halter Antiqua perpetual calendars in platinum, of which only six have been made in total. The 5970P is less rare and probably something you'll eventually see on eBay. 
Congratulations to the two owners of these stunning watches.

Love those Antiquas!
Had the opportunity to wear it for a while at the Basel fair in 2000 or 2001 and can't forget it. What a WONDERFUL timepiece to me. It was a RG version and Mr.Halter himself showed me that beauty. A very unique watch IMHO. Thanks for sharing. Vte PS: Ooop...

That's a great pair of great pairs. Seems like these two gentlemen have very similar tastes in wristwatches!
They have surprisingly very close tastes
Those who can love at the same time ( and own, of course ) a 5970 P and a V.H are many... You forgot the 3rd pair, my friend...The Collectors! And they may be more interesting than the watches the show on your post! Best, Nicolas

Difference in crown sizes in the Antiquas.....
Thanks for the brilliant pics..... rare indeed!! Is there a story behind the difference in crown sizes in the Plat Antiquas?? Or are the pics deceiving my eyes.... or my eyes deceiving my mind... whichever...
The crowns are the same size but different
in that one has yellow gold studs on the crown while the other has white gold studs. - SJX
After viewing these images many times,
I must say that next to the Antiqua, 5970P becomes really boring and truly outshined. Both does exude strong classic vibe though. *CL
