(PP, Lange, Breguet, IWC, BP, ...) and he told me that he was immediately thinking of me when he saw the new Breguet Tradition the other week.
They (dealer) ordered one Tradition, and I politely asked him to 'hold on to it' at least until I had got a chance to look at it ![]()
Oh boy.
What do you, the Lange addicts prefer:
Lange-1 Moonphase in RG
Langematik Anniversarry in PT
Breguet Tradition in YG
Or perhaps the new FP Journe Chronom?tre Souverain in RG or PT ?
All 4 very different animals, yes, but there is something in them all I like. I prefer manual winds, but the Langematik has such a nice engraved bi-metalic rotor... And the enamel dial is stunning. The Zero-reset function is nice although not absolutely a must on a hacking movement. And, although not THAT important to me, it is a LE.
I prefer white metals in general, but think that I am ready (and finally brave enough) for a RG watch to become a member of my small watch family, hence the RG Lange-1 which I think is very very beautiful.
The Journe is manual, has a fantastic a-symmetrical dial and a magic view at the back but I hate those crowns mister Journe uses. Please dont be offended since it is just my oppinion but ugly is the only qualification I have for it.
And now there is Breguet with the Tradition! I like its historic, but also 'daring' and new, design, but I am not sure about myself wearing a YG watch... but that darn thing has me thinking about it day and night.
I have to admit that I have printed it on A3 size paper (on a HP Color Laserjet 5500 btw, very nice and fast printer) and that it is taped to my study's door. OK OK, and I have another print (A4) glued to the side of my (new) computer (which, btw, is giving me headaches)
Any input highly appreciated (re the watches, the computer I'll manage).
