but in my old age, I made the saying: keep it simple, into a cornerstone. S.Steel can be repaired easily and at costs that are affordable. Ceramic, on the other hand, it's a real nightmare, should it get damaged. There is no repair possible. The cost of a...  

and all of my Panerais have been treated like "safe queens". Still and all, I've never even considered buying a ceramic model. I believe ceramic wear should be left to expert companies like Richard Ginori

10 years ago I was in a minor car crash and had a piece of the crystal chip when it hit the driver side window once on a Bell & Ross. I thought that was bad, this picture is tough to look at, must have really hit it hard or on something very hard.

Even if the platinum case, makes it a bit expensive... ...

I forgot to..breathe. I'll contribute a nice picture of the "Admiral's model", which was produced at the request of an Italian Navy Admiral. I don't have an exact dating for the model but, since it has a luminor case, I guess would be...circa late 40s, 50...

The only part from a 2533 is the caseback. Everything else is a mix from later periods, the dial being from the late 1950s. Cheers Jose
