A brief glance at the 53 issues of the Patek Philippe Magazine that have come out so far
Since I was asked if I was interested in acquiring any Patek Philippe Magazines - I have to decline politely since my collection is already complete and thanks to the fact that the brand started this brilliant initiative almost 30 years ago, I regularly receive one in the mail.
And what a treat it is!
Most of you will know this, of course, but for those who don't:
Commissioned by Philippe Stern as a very personal project, this unique custom publication has been appearing bi-annually since 1996. Being commercially unavailable, enjoying this set of magazines remains a rarefied experience.
It provides exclusive access to articles on people, places and cultures, not accessible elsewhere, never-before-seen insights into the cosmos of Patek Philippe given by world-renowned writers and most acclaimed photographers.
Many other companies have tried to place ads - none were accepted.
It's mesmerising to see Patek's values reflected in these beautiful pieces of art, which inspires the reader in a most compelling way to
"start his own tradition"!
Well, it certainly inspired and keeps inspiring me!

Great magazine, Philippe Stern created a wonderful publication that hires amazing talent.
Actually, I have been looking at some of the lithographs. They are both intriguing and beautiful.
Nothing against the movement. It's highly reliable and precise and I can tell since I'm wearing it to the office daily.
