5127.... and its strap
Hi fellow watch lovers. From the hallowed heights of considering the 5140, I've decided to be more practical and consider the 5127 WG instead. I saw one in the flesh today. Overall, a very beautiful and timeless piece.
Question about the glossy strap: Even though the strap I saw was new, it appeared to be cracking, due to the glossy finish. Can existing owners of the Calatrava range (or others) comment on the black glossy strap. Does it crack and become unsightly over time?

Cousu main = Camille Fournet Strap
The Cousu Main (hand sewn) inscription appears in Camille Fournet (CF) straps. I don't know if other manufacturers use that inscription too. I have only good experiences with CF straps. Excellent quality and duration. Regards, Daniel
