3712 question
Hello everyone,
what a nice look to the site. I used to be called ciroman, but went with bones for my new name.
I am seriously looking at acquiring a 3712 and wondered what you all thought about the piece? I love the look and I know that the price is inflated, but it is different than the 5712 and smaller as I have a small wrist. I know that I will buy the watch, but the question is... Is now the right time or should I wait to buy to see if the prices go down on the second hand market?

For those people who bought it from AD, they either: 1. sold it already a while ago or 2. keep it until now and have no plan to sell it. For those people (including professional watch traders) who bought it from grey channel / first hand owner, they usual...
I also saw it sell at auction
I think that the price was about $37K USD including premium at the last auction. i think that all the second hand guys are holding them like you say hoping they'll go up in value, I am not sure how much they'll go up though. I like the piece, but not sure...

I bought it today and I should be receiving the 3712 with all papers, etc on saturday should everything go well. I will try to post some photos at that time. I am excited to get the watch and wear it. Best. pat

I'd say it's silver.... Not very obvious but if you compare with the white painted date hand, it's good to compare. Here's a (not very good) picture taken 2005 in Basel .......
