Daniel_coste's post introduces the Vanguart Orb Flying Tourbillon, a striking example of the innovation emerging from independent watchmakers. His initial impressions highlight the watch's visual impact and its significant price point, setting the stage for a discussion on its place within the high-end horological landscape. This piece invites collectors to consider the value proposition of new independents against established masters.

At that price point, I'd want something from an established independent doing something unique. Voutilainen, Gauthier, MB&F, or even one of the futuristic super complicated pieces from a brand like JLC. The winding mode thing is cool though.

I guess it's still a render, but the design is absolutely captivating. Being (also) automatic,I wonder where the rotor is, and I'd bet it's hidden inside the case. By far out of my reach, but a worthy contender for RM
At least with regards to case-strap overall shape/design.
