Actually amazing that Pierre Arpels designed the case in 1949, for the time-only model, that he had created for himself. It still looks so stunning, especially in this 42mm size. The caliber is one of the sexiest looking movements that I have seen during the last few years. Designed from scratch by Jean-Marc Wiederrecht. The watch is also available in a more straight forward case in pink gold. GEO
