Mahesh's original post offers a compelling look at the Urwerk UR-102 Reloaded, a timepiece he suggests could bridge the gap for collectors typically drawn to classic designs. His detailed photographs and observations highlight the watch's unique blend of a 41mm pebble case with digital hour satellites, inviting a fresh perspective on Urwerk's distinctive aesthetic. This article synthesizes community reactions to understand how this reloaded reference resonates with both new and established enthusiasts.

Couple of old photos from last year just after launch...

I felt this is a timepiece that could be worn by the set of collectors who normally goes the classic path.

41mm pebble case and around 11 mm thick it displays analog minutes and Digital hour satellites !

The crown is well designed to fit into the case still projects for ease of use.

The lugs are on juxtaposition to the case, quite strongly angled visually providing link to the Urwerk design codes.

Personally I would prefer the brushed steel version but might be with a different strap, albeit not my preferred kind of watch.

what do you think & which variant is to your liking ?

Best,
mahesh.,

I think this would appeal more to existing owners who had spent time to understand and appreciate the Urwerk concept.

I would go for this model specifically the grey case

between the two, I tend to choose the grey one too.

The grey one for me, on the black strap. I kind of like the softness of the case against the sharp, angular lugs. But somehow it feels more like an intellectual attraction rather than a coup de coeur. I think this one would need some time to check how the feeling evolves. PS Do you see the parking meter? Now I can’t unsee it….

Not quite an Urwerk, but very close!
