I look at a lot of watches, I’ve had a lot of watches on my wrist over the years.  Like most of you, every new city, every trip, I’m always going to poke my head in the AD or other dealer to what’s laying around.  And I usually take pictures.

Just working through the phone for some old pictures today I came across so many watch photos (from the above mentioned excursions).  I thought I would share some.

First up some wrist time with Romain Gauthier’s Logical One.  Two flavors, one for me and one for my rap star alter ego!

The plain jane version you see here I seriously considered buying.  But logic (hah!) prevailed, it’s too big for me.  And at those prices even a little too big is not acceptable.

Some eye candy:

Two others that come to mind right now are the FP Journe Vagabondage II in PT with baguettes on the bezel. A stunning watch. And there’s a version of the DB28 Blue which is a knockout. Both of these watches are owned by forum members and I believe have been posted at some point.

But the last several years it’s been the opposite. I’d say 7-10 years ago, this watch would have fit OK. I was wearing 44mm and 47mm (at a stretch), the 44mm looked fine though.

For me definitely without diamond bezel but there is of course a market for this also. What a gorgeous piece, congrats to Romain for a fantastic design and architecture of the movement. Romain a real gentleman for the ones who know him. I still think about our Purists Indies Tour with a lot of emotion...

I don't think it is too big for you... I think comfort is more important. I also prefer the plain version...

I was also lucky enough to strap these two amazing watches on my wrist at BW last year.
