I guess you could call this one controversial two complications which some don’t find the most useful.  Worldtimer and chrono flyback. But it sure is one hell of a good looking modern Patek. On the wrist at just under 40mm it fits perfectly. If anyone was on the fence and before it gets discontinued go try one on.  White gold case and a beautiful blue strap usually reserved for platinum models is a winning combination not to mention the exquisite blue dial.

About the Patek Philippe Patek Philippe 5930G-010 Ref. 5930

The Patek Philippe Reference 5930 combines two of the manufacture's highly regarded complications: the World Time and the Chronograph. This reference represents a modern interpretation of a complex horological tradition, integrating a flyback chronograph function with a display of 24 time zones. It is notable for its compact dimensions relative to its complication set, offering a balanced presence on the wrist.

The watch features a white gold case measuring 39.5mm in diameter, housing the self-winding Caliber CH 28-520 HU. This integrated movement provides a power reserve of approximately 55 hours. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, and the watch is water-resistant to 30 meters. The case design incorporates classic Patek Philippe elements, with polished and satin-finished surfaces.

Appealing to collectors who appreciate technical complexity and travel-oriented functions, the 5930 builds upon Patek Philippe's history of world time watches, tracing its lineage to earlier models. The integration of the chronograph adds a layer of functionality and horological interest. The reference is offered with a blue dial and is fitted with a leather strap, presenting a cohesive and refined aesthetic.

So gorgeous!

Very useful indeed! Like many other Pateks they always seem much larger in photos, but when seeing in person I continue to be amazed at how much smaller and proportionately perfect they are!

When we read reviews it seems they never actually tried on the watch.

I know what you mean. I had seen this in person along with the 5235G and they are nothing like the sizes in any of their photos. True of the old saying," the camera adds 10 pounds". πŸ˜†

So much more when directly viewed, held, and of course worn. But going back to your 5930, just beautiful, and coupling a chronograph function with the WT makes it twice as useful, and twice as magnificent! As a 5930 owner, what are your thoughts on its green sibling?

I really can’t say as I have never seen one. But judging from the aftermarket action it is popular.
