amanico expresses his long-standing admiration for the Patek Philippe 10 Days Ref. 5100G, placing it high on his personal wish list. He details the unique attributes that make this limited edition reference so appealing, from its distinctive case to its exclusive movement, and reflects on its market trajectory.

In my Patek wish list, I have a very few references. The 5370P, of course, would be my first choice, for its black enamel dial and its rattrapante.

The 5970P is another one, as well as the 5078.

But, in a more affordable range, the 5100G is on the top of my wish list, while the others are more in the dream list.

The case, the movement, the dial... Everything is new and exclusive to this reference which came in white gold, rose gold, yellow gold and platinum.

For once, I prefer the white gold to the platinum for its blue dial.

It is a loooong love story between this watch and myself. A love affair which immediately started with the unveiling of this reference, in 2000.

I had several opportunities to get one, but it was not the right time, or the deal was too complicated.

But one day... It will be mine, for sure.

Here is a picture borrowed to Antiquorum.

Curiously, they are not reaching the sky, yet. Maybe because they were too many made for a limited edition, maybe because of the shape of the case which is not everybody's taste...

I am very happy with that. It will give me more time to get mine. wink

Best,

Nicolas

but the movement is stunning. Well worth getting 5100 and WG is simply beautiful. I went for P because I'm collecting very small diamonds (between the lugs). Best, Kari

I considered the price a bit steep for me at that time, I decided not to buy it. I kind of regret that. Best regards, Baxter

I think you and me are competing for the same watch This particular model seems hard to come by. I can find 2-3 platinum version and none WG ones. I am patiently waiting for this model or 5105P.
