Terbaboom's latest acquisition, the Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF Minute Rattrapante, marks a significant continuation of their horological journey. This post offers an initial glimpse into a timepiece that is rapidly gaining traction among collectors, showcasing Parmigiani Fleurier's innovative approach to complications and design. Terbaboom's enthusiasm highlights why this particular reference is becoming a standout in the independent watchmaking scene.

The Minute Rattrapante is currently my favorite watch to wear. It has blown me away. The complication is clever and unique. But just the dial color, without date, in this case... it comes together perfectly. We have quite a club for this new MR already! And the micro rotor model has multiple owners too. Parmigiani is a fireball right now, especially here at WPS!
I also am awaiting the Tonda MR. It's gaining traction on this forum in a rather significant way. M4
One question, does the minute hands drag or jump from one minute marker to the other? If it drags does the rattrapante hand also jumps between the markers or jumps right on the markers. I’m just trying to determine if I’m able to say exactly measure 8 minutes or I might be measuring 7.5 minutes when I intend to measure 8.
That is clearly my favorite from the Tonda line.
Thank you for the reply and enjoy your beautiful watch in health.
Such a clever and simple to use mechanism. As Iposted before, it reminds me a lot of older Ulysee Nardin watches.
