In this captivating post, cazalea takes us on a vibrant journey, showcasing his Ochs und Jr Moonphase alongside a rich tapestry of nature and unique garden art. His distinctive photographic style and keen eye for detail transform a simple evening stroll into an immersive experience, inviting readers to appreciate the beauty in everyday observations. This piece highlights how a watch can be more than a timepiece, serving as a companion on life's adventures.
I left off my last post with our collection of home-grown citrus (from at least 4 homes). Today it seemed like the bowlful could host my Ochs und Jr Moonphase.

Zoom in:

We walked in what might be accurately described as “the cool of the evening”

But we are still in the coastal desert or Mediterranean climate, so we were looking at flowers and cactus, not snow.

Wow to all who stumble here!

Ouch!

This is a “strawberry plant” according to Mrs. C and those are its berries, which are not strawberries. (Huh?)

Quite a rude cactus…

These hibiscus are erected too, fighting for the attention of the pollinators (honey bees).

Wonderful garden paintings at this house, framed by brilliant vines.

I can safely say that I’ve never seen a front garden regatta of brass and copper boats sailing around a rocky bay at the foot of a tall lighthouse.

This Regatta is overseen by a mirrored “hot air balloon”

What a great front yard art display!
Now, back to the flowers.

A Jeep Scrambler longbed pickup with matching orange stripe.

“Duck coming in for a landing” weathervane!

More orangeness!

An evening hummingbird happily sang to us. Can you see it?

We found our way home and had grilled (orange) salmon on a huge green salad with orange segments on the side.

Thanks for coming along with us this evening 🍊 🍋 🍋‍🟩
