Chicolini introduces a fascinating and somewhat rare timepiece from his collection: the Nivrel 5 Minute Repeater. This article delves into why this particular watch holds a special place for him, highlighting its distinctive numerals and the unique charm of a lesser-known independent brand. His personal insights offer a valuable perspective on collecting beyond the mainstream.

Thank you for sharing. I have learned the name of another brand!
and it offers tremendous value. How does the repeater sound like? And does it keep good time?
Dear Sham, I believe its an ETA 2892-A2 with a Dubois Depraz repeater module, it works in quarters. Regards. Rafael
I believe it is a five minute repeater rather than a quarter repeater but I am curios if it sounds loud and clear.
I have a hearing loss (which saves me a lot of money) and can not hear most repeaters but this one I can. It chimes well and on the louder side.
That makes this 5 minute repeater somewhat a bargain. and I noticed that the tugs are quite short and curved so 42mm might even be wearable on my small wrist
