Pongster, a respected member of the WatchProSite community, recently shared the arrival of his Grönefeld Principia, sparking considerable discussion. His choice of a turquoise dial, a decision made prior to the widespread 'Tiffany' dial craze, offers a unique perspective on personal collecting preferences and the evolving market. This article explores the aesthetic appeal and collector insights surrounding this exceptional independent timepiece.

If I may be honest, personally this one is more gorgeous than many other tiffany blue regardless of price
But I really have to ask, why wasn’t this model included in the craze over “Tiffany” dials?? Is it because of price point, or because no more orders were being taken by the brothers? Seriously, a case can easily be made for this dial over select others (I don’t want to name names).
so sublime yet throbbingly provocative
Just a perfect peace art. The dial tint let me think of a Tiffany dial. Pongster, you deserve your Grönefeld. The brothers made it for you personally. Honestly, this is a strong peace of art that is also as beautiful as RG his Logical One. My independent dream is the Logical One.
Definitely one of my fav from the Principia line . That dial color is so gorgeous. I would love to get me one if it was possible 🙏🏻Wear it in best of health.
I initially ordered the salmon dial. Then my salmon itch got scratched by other pieces. Good thing turnaround was slow. So was able to switch dials to turquoise. And i did so before the tiffany craze started. Turquoise is my birthstone.
