Hi Friends,

I really could not believe this just happened. My wife gave me the go-ahead!

Some of you already knew that I took my wife to an AD several days ago, with the slimmest hope that she would allow me to get a new watch. Story here.

Of all the watches I tried, she was most interested in the H. Moser Endeavour Centre Seconds with fume dial. She like the fume dial, but thought the dial layout not as attractive as the Moser Endeavour Small Seconds (a.k.a. Mayu)

I continue to visit quite a few boutiques and ADs in the past couple of days, tried numerous watches from various brands, took lots of photos, but still none of those impressed her.

This afternoon, I visited another AD, and surprisingly found a pretty complete line of Moser watches. I was quite sure that this AD did not carry Moser before, and it turned out that the watches were just put on display. Even more surprisingly, there was a rose gold Endeavour Small Seconds with fume dial.

All of a sudden, something clicked in my mind. My wife liked the Endeavour Small Seconds, and she liked the fume dial, too! So, could this be the right one came at the right time?

I called my wife immediately, told her about what I've found (with a soft tone and humble attitude of pleading), and to my surprise, she said "OK"!

I don't know how to express my feeling at the moment. Ecstatic happiness? That's for sure. But I really want to thank my wife for her kindness, generosity and tolerance.

In the meantime, I'm also curious about how my wife's taste has been evolving. Why she skipped all the other renowned names and picked Moser? I have no idea. Maybe I'll find out someday.

Here are a few quick shots (which definitely do not do the watch justice) to share with you.

Thanks for your time.

Luis

I have always liked the H. Moser's but have never had the opportunity to see these fume dials in person. They most be impressive. They are so distinctive and when you see one you automatically know it is a Moser. Enjoy it and take more pics when you get a chance! Best, Javier
