BMR shares his exciting journey into the world of H. Moser & Cie., culminating in the acquisition of the Endeavour Centre Seconds Concept Blue Lagoon. His post details how community feedback, a friend's insights, and a personal meeting with brand representatives solidified his decision, leaving him 'blown away' by the watch's craftsmanship and unique dial.
A while back, I asked our community here for some feedback on Moser pieces because I felt myself being pulled in by them. Several of you were very helpful in that process, and I greatly appreciate your perspectives and advice!
Since then a new, but now someone I consider a good friend was able to see them in person at Watches and Wonders. His feedback was favorable, and, as luck would have it, he was also able to arrange a meeting between me and some of the representatives of the brand as they were passing through my hometown in 2 days. The representatives were very gracious to make a special stop for me to see the pieces they had with them from Watches and Wonders. I was blown away. I literally said wow, which Iโve realized should always be the standard I have when considering a new acquisition.
This meeting gave me a lot to think about, but after a few days to cement my impressions, I knew what I wanted to do. The Endeavour Centre Seconds Concept Blue Lagoon made short work of my willpower, and Iโm happy to say I just received it in the mail today. Many thanks to those of you who helped me๐๐!
While itโs only been a few hours yet with this watch, I have to say itโs even better than when I tried it the first time. The dial gets all the attention, but the scalloped case, the open rotor, the downturned lugs, the Moser stripes all contribute to make this a wonderful addition to my collection. Iโm very happy. Thank you for seeing.
