(This would be actually my perfect LF collection.) As for the price, it’s a question only you can answer for yourself. It’s a fair question and I posed it to myself as well and ultimately decided to go for it. My Galet Square deserves its place in the collection first and foremost due to the unreal movement. The organic, fluid lines of the case coming in as a close second. Let us know how you decide!

One wouldn’t go wrong with either. Round is classic & a very refined case design. While the square is classy yet a tad outside the ‘crowd’…let us say, you like à Panerai Radiomir but you want à highly refined version - then Galet Square. I’m saying this is the best Square case one can get, better than VC 1941 American ! Personally if you have several round cases in your collection, would you want one more ?! go for the Square one - it is just different! Best, Mahesh.,
Simply because the Galet case is smaller than the Square, and more classic. The Autumn dial is amazing, not the best to read, but stunning looking. GEO
I personally prefer the square model because after having tried both the round and square versions, I can safely say that the square version fits the wrist better even though it has a diameter of 41mm compared to the round case which has a diameter of 40mm. It is all about the case shape and lugs. 50k is not a lot of money for a steel automatic watch - and arguably for one of the best automatics in the market together with the Gronefeld Principa. 1/ As for square or round, it is an eternal question. I could say that you can't get wrong, but I would go farther. At the beginning, I would have favored the Square. After some time, I feel more comfortable with the round. I fear to get rid of the Square. 2/ Laurent Ferrier is a totally different universe. In terms of finishings, the micro rotor is among the best. But here again, I tend to favor the manual winding movement of the Classic Origins, which I find more sober, and more " intellectual
