Didn't know where to post my Jaquet Droz as there is no longer a J*D forum and has not been one for a very long time.

I think they make between 7,000 - 8,000 watches annually so even though they belong to the Swatch group, I still see them as an Independent. Their "métier d'art" department is unreal with some amazing watches.

In fact, Anita Porchet who is considered THE best enamel artist in horology, also worked exclusively for Jaquet Droz for a number of years before she started working for Patek.

J*D specializes in stone dials but also with enamel dials (en grand feu).

Shame they are underappreciated and do not get the justice they deserve for producing aesthetically beautiful watches.

Here is one of my J*D enamel dials.

And Yokozuna wanted to say hi as well 🐱

My girlfriend ended up being even more interested than me, since many of these masterpieces are truly for both genders! Cheers.

I love enamel dialed watches and have several currently: The 1846MC 150th Anniversary model from 1996: The one and only platinum 38mm original Piccadilly with an enamel dial from 2005: My second L&H with an enamel dial, the Georg in RG case. Previously I had the Johann in WG with the elongated black romans, but once this was released, I realized I needed it 😜: There are a 2 others that I’ve let go, both remain in my heart with a certain amount of regret for selling them. Oh well, onward and
