Amanico shares a rare find: a Jaeger-LeCoultre Futurematic Ref. E 502, specifically a 'Port Hole' variant, discovered during a watch shopping excursion. His post features several photographs of this vintage timepiece, emphasizing its impeccable dial and case condition. Amanico reflects on the temptation to acquire it to pair with his existing Futurematic E 501.

Falling on a nice Futurematic is pretty rare. On a nice Port Hole, even more.

When we had our usual watch shopping, last Saturday, with Blomman and CC, we fell on that one.

Impeccable dial, nice case.

The thought to get it, to make the pair with my Futurematic E 501, crossed my mind, I must say.

But I have to save for my big project of the year. sad

Certainly an icon in the wide Vintage JLC world.

Enjoy!

Nicolas

Though I'm not sure how the market would react to something like this now, I've always been a proponent of bringing back something like this to the Master Control Line, but with 2 correctors on the case side: one for hours, one for minutes, and drop the stem on the back. -Dean

Crown. So changing it for a pair of pushers may kill the spirit, the DNA of the Futurematic. Best, Dean. Nicolas

.. & actually, I also have to focus on one of my bigger projects.. It\'s just , that once I start getting closer, again another sweet temptation crosses my way. Sighhh.. too many wishes, it appears; but 2016 will, no must become a condensation year. Best, dear friend, hs

Is it a project that starts with 'D' and means 'having two'.
