Sorry for this evidence, but there are several ways to express Poetry in Time, and undisputably, JLC excels in this Art.

From the pocket watches, and their unbelievable " cortège " of complications, to the wrist watches, without forgetting the traveler clocks, table clocks, clocks and barometers, thermometers etc...

Here are some significative examples, of this impressive " Eloge du Temps ".

Poetry in its simplest expression:

Or in its most complicated face:

... In its " technicity ":

Here, in a jewelled presentation:

Or in the obession of a nice done job:

( Credit pic to Steve G, for this last one ).

There was also some place, and still nowadays by the way, for some realisations dedicated to the biggest dreamers among us:

Poetry is not only a matter of Past, of History, it is also a living moment, as you will see on the pictures I post below.

Poetry as a Sculpture, in a modern, aerial style:

Poetry in movement:

What about an enameled moment of pure poetry, for the peace of mind?

No need to be rich or extemely rich to know the feeling of happyness, satisfaction.

The pleasure can be simple, it is not less intense, and the Master Ultra Thin is a perfect example, in stainless Steel or Rose Gold:

If Money doesn't make people happy, it may contribute to their happyness.

Here are some examples of what could be described as JLC at their best.

One of the smartest offer from JLC, the Duometre, an enchanting opus which won't let you homeless, if you dream of it:

A dizzy vision, the Gyro I:

Poetry can not only be seen, it also can be heard:

Music can turn into symphony, without neglecting an undisputable visual appeal:

More intellectual, like a poeme from Stephane Mallarmé, an allusion to the planishpere, in a very artisitic way and modern way:

And for those who are keen on mystic poetry, JLC didn't forget you:

After some round and rectangular marvels, I'm sure you will have nothing against some modern Atmos marvels...

Poetry is Art:

Poetry as the nostalgic expression of the time passing...

Unless you're more sensible to a modern, more epured interpretation?

Like in dream, a blue dream:

Unless you are more sensible to one of the most delicious black opus:

The head in the stars and planets, an astronomical vision of Poetry, my favourite Atmos, by the way:

Some thoughts:

1/ Seeing JLC maintaining this bridge between their past, their Patrimony, and their Present is a feast, and enhances the awesome diversity, richness of the " Grande Maison ".

And I didn't even mention the Historical models, such as the Deep Sea Alarm, Polaris, Geophysic, Futurematic, " simple " Memovoxes, and so on!

Who else can offer such an impressive number of pure delights?

2/ One family is missing, though: The Ados, travelers clocks, and table clocks, which weren't re interpretated.

A gap to fill, Mr Lambert?

What do you all think?

Best,

Nicolas.

Torquemada had to do something, Damjan.

Let's share our pain on the enamel dial, my friend. Not the most expensive piece of Dream, not the most affordable, too, but how wharming, envouting and captivating it is. Did you also notice how I insist on the enamel Reverso? I hope JLC will hear us... We are shouting so loudly! Best, Nicolas
