About the Breguet Heritage Ref. 7147BR/AA/9ZV

The Breguet Heritage collection represents a contemporary interpretation of the brand's neoclassical design principles established by Abraham-Louis Breguet in the late 18th century. This particular example showcases the collection's commitment to preserving Breguet's signature aesthetic codes while incorporating modern manufacturing techniques. The Heritage line serves as an accessible entry point into the Breguet universe, maintaining the brand's visual DNA without the complexity of their grand complications.

The watch displays Breguet's most recognizable design elements: the distinctive open-tipped hands, individual welded Arabic numerals, and minute track with railway-style markers. The black dial creates striking contrast against what appears to be a rose gold case, while the slim profile and clean execution demonstrate contemporary manufacturing precision. The leather strap features traditional hand-stitching consistent with Breguet's attention to finishing details across all price segments.

Within Breguet's current portfolio, the Heritage collection occupies the foundational tier, offering brand DNA at a more accessible price point than the Classique or Marine lines. These pieces appeal to collectors seeking authentic Breguet design language without venturing into five-figure territory. The collection's straightforward time-only functionality and recognizable aesthetic make it particularly attractive to first-time luxury watch buyers and those drawn to horological heritage over contemporary complications.

Stunning!

The style of this is much more to my taste than a Dufour. Thanks for the picture. All the best, Jon PS. Nico owns the copyright in that phrase😀

That’s an interesting remark, dear Jon!

I’d genuinely be curious what makes you feel that way (preferring Rexhepi over Dufour)? All the best Thomas

I just find the dial, hands and case more modern and interesting for this Rexhepi.

Just personal preference for the design.
