This article revisits Bruno.M1's journey, offering a unique perspective on the challenges and triumphs of commissioning a bespoke timepiece from an emerging artisan. His early insights into design choices and movement modifications provide valuable context for understanding the complexities of independent watchmaking.

I had an urban jurgensen w teardrop lugs. So annoying I sent back to ad at a 3k loss within a week
If you do not mind, may I ask why do you want to change from teardrop lugs to straight one? I haven't had any watch with teardrop lugs, so I would like to have one in the collection. By the way, do you choose calibre omega 266 for the movement? I consider the calibre omega 285 with magnificient marble finishing.
Been researching on Reima Koivukoski and your thread came up - just seeing how everything went in the end!
Have you received your timepiece yet Bruno? Would love an update. I placed an order shortly after your post and recommendation and I have not received mine. It's been over 2 years now and Reima is not good with his communication after the deposit has been paid so I have no idea when I'll get mine.
When he told me he was working on a chronograph I asked him if it was possible to get that chronograph It would take many years but I agreed. Unfortunately a friend of mine ( also here on WatchProSite ) is indeed still waiting on the time only It takes too long and I believe he asked to get his deposit back, I think he got his deposit back No idea why this all takes so long. A couple of months ago Remon had a good article on the monochrome website and aeverthing looked ok Why he is postponing so
One is Alex, he is a forum member here and I believe he got his deposit back pretty fast cause he wa ted to cancel the watch pretty early Patrick is still waiting and I believe he asked a refund of his deposit cause it takes way too long I’ll alk both to react here
