This post offers a rare glimpse into the world of independent horology, from emerging talent to established legends, and the personal connections that enrich the collecting journey.

I love the way you describe the three. Enjoy your stay in Geneva! Best, Emmanuel PS: Jean Khatchadourian posted his watch not long ago on our site.
JK is a very kind guy, XR is a gentle giant, RR is a power house.
How did you like the Grand Large? And the Minute Inerte?
GL is very poetic watch, you see the marine theme right away , even without realizing that there is whale tale right on the dial( JK pointer out to me) , the case shape the night sky all create that feel . Absolutely gorgeous. In addition. 100 m water resistance and the strap made of some sort of synthetic material to make it full circle marine watch. Minute Inerte is an also themed watch, this time in architecture, and you feel it immediately, the brick work, the keystone the case shape are so
The dial is not finished, Alex took us, my daughters and me, for a tour of Akrivia ateliers , the craftsman and craftswomen are extraordinarily talented so skilled I was in awe .
from this unfinished state, as is apparent in your excellent pic, to the unblemished perfect dials we see installed in completed watches.
