From yesterday afternoon. The light hit the dial in a rather compelling way in my opinion smile....

About the Sarpaneva Korona K0 Wuoks Ref. K0 Wuoks

Sargan represents a contemporary independent watchmaking venture that has carved its niche within the artisanal timepiece segment. The brand operates within the broader ecosystem of modern independent manufacturers who prioritize distinctive design elements and alternative material applications over traditional horological heritage. This particular piece showcases the brand's commitment to unconventional dial treatments and robust case construction.

The technical execution centers on a meteorite dial application, where genuine Gibeon meteorite creates the textured surface visible in this example. The substantial case construction features an integrated crown guard system and multi-level bezel architecture that suggests tool watch influences. The orange accents provide chromatic contrast against the metallic meteorite surface, while the overall proportions indicate a contemporary sizing approach typical of modern independent brands.

Within the independent watchmaking market, Sargan occupies the accessible luxury segment, offering distinctive design elements at price points below established manufacture brands. The meteorite dial treatment positions this model as a statement piece for collectors seeking unique materials without the premium associated with traditional Swiss independents. Contemporary production suggests limited availability, though the brand's market position remains within the enthusiast community rather than broader luxury recognition.

That was one of the first questions I asked!

And not even Stepan knew to tell me exactly. The one thing that I was particularly happy with is that he allowed me to select both the meteorite pattern and color! Obviously, I'd highly recommend getting a watch from Stepan to any watch fanatic πŸ™πŸ˜Š

top shot!

Is the sapphire coated on both sides? I would love to see a slightly beefier case using the same inspiration, maybe with a dive bezel and regular lugs.
