Hublot & Usain Bolt "I Am Bolt" Premiere

At a star studded event in London’s Odeon Leicester Square, guests attended the world premiere of “I am Bolt,” a documentary about legendary sprinter, Usain Bolt and the legacy of the fastest man in history.   Special guests including Mo Farah, Distance Runner Olympic Gold Medalist, Sean Paul, Singer, Cesc Fàbregas, Chelsea FC player, David Haye, World Champion Boxer, Jimmy Carr, Comedian, and many others.  

The film offers unparalleled access to all facets of Usain Bolt’s life on and off track – from his grueling training schedule, major setbacks and challenges he faces in order to achieve his dreams on the global stage to his downtime with friends and family. The result is an intimate portrayal of a globally adored icon, created from archive footage, in-depth interviews and fascinating footage shot by the man himself.

Hublot has been standing alongside the greatest sprinter of all time since 2010, creating limited edition watches that personify Usain Bolt’s strength, determination and success. For his film debut Usain Bolt attended the world premiere of the film wearing the Hublot Big Bang Unico Usain Bolt Yellow Gold timepiece. The film’s directors Gabe and Ben Turner also sported Big Bang timepieces on the night.

The Hublot Big Bang Unico Usain Bolt was designed in collaboration with the world’s fastest man. Interpreted in both a yellow gold version and a ceramic edition, the timepieces feature a masculine and sporty design with gold and green hues, a nod to Usain Bolt’s signature colors, and a strap embossed with the Jamaican flag to pay tribute to Usain’s home country. The brand’s in-house UNICO movement with chronograph flyback can accurately time any race, but this version alone has Usain’s signature “lightning bolt” as its chronograph hand.
