Amanico's initial impressions of the Hentschel H2 Classic offer a valuable look at a timepiece from an independent German manufacture. His post highlights the watch's understated elegance and the aesthetic appeal of its Caliber 1130S movement. This discussion provides insights into what makes this particular Hentschel model a compelling choice for collectors seeking classic design and horological craftsmanship.

I am still testing this Hentschel H2 Classic for a few months.

Sober, classic, elegant, this is a pleasant companion.

The case size, 38, 5 mm, is very good. I would definitely have preferred the lugs of the first version, though.

The darkened movement, Cal 1130S, is a pleasure for the eyes. I like the big balance wheel a lot and the cherry on the cake is the presence of a swan neck.

To be followed!

Best,

Nicolas

...and with an unusual configuration of numbers and indices. The reverse is lovely. Regards Kev.

and elegant. The shape of the case looks almost like its been hydroformed. And those seemingly oversized chatons and jewels!

I find the Sport very interesting, indeed. A sports watch that has the elegance of a dress watch is just what I've been looking for. Thank you for this, friend.

Especially that sector dial!

the sector dial had a perhaps a difference of depth or texture between the rings.
