Amanico introduces a significant milestone for WatchProSite: a limited-edition Hentschel H1 Chronometer created to celebrate the community's 20th anniversary. This exclusive collaboration with Hentschel of Hamburg, limited to just 20 pieces, offers a unique opportunity for collectors to own a piece of WatchProSite history. Amanico details the watch's specifications, highlighting its bespoke design elements and the meticulous craftsmanship characteristic of Hentschel.
- Case and dial :
o Steel case 5 ATM water resistant diam 39,5 mm, 8 mm high.
o Special marking on the case back for the 20th Anniversary of WPS with a « 1 of 20 » mention (no individual numbering for avoiding arguments and disputes)
o White laquered dial with enamel rendering
o Deep blue writings (for the signature, numerals, minute track, small second sub counter…) except 12 in red, which also has a deep hue.
o Blued steel leaf hands
o Domed, double anti reflective coated sapphire crystal. The high-grade sapphire crystal is shock-proof and scratch resistant
- Movement :
o Manually wound certified chronometer, tested for 1,000 hours and adjusted to six positions – based on the strict test criteria of the Deutsche Seewarte von 1877 (German Naval Institute). It is not " COSCED ". The tolerance is -4 / +6 seconds per day. If the watch runs over this tolearance, Hentschel corrects this, free of charge.
o New in house HUW 1130 Premium manufactory movement with côtes de Genève and screwed-on golden chatons, swan neck regulator
o Power reserve approx. 37 hours
- Strap: In order to avoid any kind of issue with some borders or some countries, it had been decided that the watch will be available with two straps, at your choice: A light tan calf, or a navy blue one.
- Price and payment terms :
o This Limited and Exclusive Edition for WPS is proposed at the special price of 5 800 € ( VAT NOT INCLUDED) to the WPS members, insurance & shipping fees coming on top depending on destination.
o The watches will be shipped directly by Hentschel ; VAT / import taxes & duties will be collected by FedEx or DHL on top of the above mentioned price (obviously will vary depending on country of destination)
o 30% deposit will have to be wired by each directly to Hentschel at the time of confirmation ; the balance 70% with insurance & shipping fees will have to be paid in full prior to shipping
o In case of more reservations than available pieces, the watches will be officially reserved only when the 30% deposit will be received by Hentschel on their bank account
o Estimated delivery time : end of 2021
To be totally transparent, the first 20 to speak will be the first 20 to be served. You just have to answer that you are in, here, or / and to pm Mike H or myself.

A little too “traditional” in styling for me, but I am certain there will be many for whom this is a perfect fit.
I have a bit to many watches on order right now to justify a purchase like this at the moment 🤦🏻♂️ will definitely be a big seller and i hope to see one in person when possible
That’s impressive. Particularly the chronometry. I was just talking to another prominent member about getting into hentschel, when the timing is right. Unfortunately, the timing is not right, for me 😟 Gonna just settle for drooling over these watches once they arrive Thanks for sharing with the group Hussam
