Henrik, known as 'shortys home' on WatchProSite, offers an exclusive first look at the Hentschel H1 Chronometer WPS 20th Anniversary edition. This article provides an intimate photographic tour of the timepiece, highlighting its unique design elements and the meticulous craftsmanship that defines Hentschel watches. Henrik's early access, thanks to the proximity of Andreas Hentschel's workshop, allows fellow collectors to anticipate the arrival of their own limited-edition pieces with enhanced detail.

Now that the beautiful result of Mike and Nico‘s collaboration with Andreas Hentschel to celebrate WatchProSite‘s 20th Anniversary is getting shipped to the lucky 20 owners, I took full advantage of Andreas‘s workshop being only a 30 minute drive away, and collected my specimen just an hour after our dear Penfriend yesterday.

Let me share some first detail shots to hopefully further increase (if that’s possible) anticipation for all fellow purists who should receive their timepiece very soon.

Let’s start with the face of the watch, characterized by enamel like lacquered dial, the blue and red numerals and of course the heat blued hands. Special attention should be also paid to the most beautiful small seconds subdial.

The H1 case and the beautiful lugs deserve some dedicated shots, too.

Now let’s turn the watch and take a view at caliber 1130P and the case back engraving to commemorate the special occasion.

I learned from Andreas that the WPS 20th Anniversary H1 is the first timepiece to feature the brand new and utterly beautiful Hentschel tang buckle, corresponding nicely with the grained blue Jean Rousseau strap.

Here we see the Hentschel Hamburg logo coq on both the crown and the tang buckle.

I hope you enjoyed these first impressions! I hope everyone receiving their WPS Anniversary H1 soon will be just as amazed as I am with this beautiful timepiece.

The watch comes with a very nice photo documentation and a small individualized booklet. I will however not share a photo of this to not spoil the surprise for the other lucky purists.

Thanks again to Mike, Nico and Andreas for making this happen!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Henrik

It is always difficult to have photos giving full justice to a watch but yours are really cool and you capture the light the right way to show the exceptional beauty of this dial and the other pics are also awesome. Many thanks for your kind words and in return so many thanks for your support and help as you were also involved 😉

Reminds me of an emanel dial from one Breguet I used to own…can’t wait to receive mine. I would love to see some wrist shot when you can!

… showing the watch‘s response to different daylight angles. Here your attention should be focused on the hand bent minute hand, almost touching the dial. Cheers Henrik
