DonCorson's post from SIHH 2018 highlights the Grönefeld Remontoir, showcasing new guilloché dials crafted by Kari Voutilainen's Comblémine factory. This piece remains a significant example of independent watchmaking, particularly noted for its distinctive stainless steel bridges. The discussion explores collector preferences for these new dials versus Grönefeld's original aesthetic.

Great photos. Thank you. M4
I hope (like most PuristS 😉) to add one of there watches in the future 🙏🏻. #dutchpride 🤗 . Here is a pic from my last visit to there booth at SIHH . The One with a Salmon dail ( i just love Salmon dails)
... so far largely ignored by the commercial blogs. I always admired the Grönefelds for finding this brilliant and unique design for the movement bridges and cocks, looking modern, but still so fitting to traditional watchmaking. As much as I admire the dials coming from Comblémine, the original design of Grönefeld matches, in my view, the movement aesthetics better. The salmon coloured dial in the last picture is to die for. if i would purchase a Gronefeld one day i think i would go for there normale dail too . Its just perfect imho👌🏻😘
with a Kari darker blue fish scale guilloche dial with white gold hands. It is not inexpensive to do this, however. There are two Kari dial options; one is all guilloche and the other is guilloche with enamel which is a more expensive option.
your skin tone perfectly!!
