Amanico's annual tradition of photographing Grönefeld timepieces on moss at Watches and Wonders offers a unique, personal perspective on the brand's evolution. This recurring ritual not only highlights the exquisite craftsmanship of Grönefeld's watches but also captures the enduring relationship between a collector and the watchmakers. His post provides a visual journey through some of Grönefeld's most iconic references, from the One Hertz to the Principia Automatic.

On Gronefeld's wrist!

We have a tradition with the Gronefeld Brothers? Each time we meet at the SIHH / Watches and Wonders, I take a picture on moss we find there.

This year, it was the Principia Automatic:

In 2015, it was their Tourbillon:

And in 2012, the One Hertz!

Best,

Nicolas

Can I assume based on this tradition that you have a small album of all past moss photos?

Principia is a great timepiece - I like it even more than the Remontoire. Thanks for sharing. Best, mahesh.,

This ref and LF origin were my debate last summer. Sometimes this one I wished I got but in the end I wanted a manual wind. Now these cannot be easily found!
