KIH provides an exclusive report from a Greubel Forsey event at their Tokyo Boutique, featuring Stephen Forsey and Emmanuel Jutier. The post offers a rare glimpse into the brand's exquisite craftsmanship, highlighting the Platinum Tourbillon 24 Secondes Vision with a salmon dial and other complex pieces. KIH's detailed photography captures the intricate dials and movements, bringing the experience of handling these horological masterpieces to a wider audience.

An event for connoisseurs was held at Greubel Forsey Tokyo Boutique with Messrs. Stephen Forsey and Emmanuel Jutier.  For the first time, I saw and handled Platinum Tourbillon 24 Secondes Vision with salmon dial, as a bonus smile)

The booth where Mr. Forsey himself presents the models face-to-face.  What an opportunity!

What's on his wrist?

Very "Greubel Forsey" boutique interior decoration.

Wow...

Platinum and Red Gold side by side...

The back of Red Gold model.

As you may know, the index are "champleve-enamel".

Now this one is even more complicated.  The dial is made of gold (the same as before), but the index is, well, 3D.  Index are separately made with the groove in which is "champleve-enamel" and put into the dial later.... (this one is "Prototype" so this black index is lacquer, though).

Other super pieces - Quadruple Tourbillon

GMT

Super clever Perpetual Calendar

I fully enjoyed the event.  Thank you, Messrs Forsey and Jutier.
And thanks, Greubel Forsey Tokyo Boutique!

HAGWE!

About the De Bethune DB25 Ref. DB25

De Bethune DB25 Reference DB25

The DB25 represents De Bethune's entry in the 44.5mm manual-wind category, distinguished by its silver dial configuration within the DB25 series. This reference launched in 2006 and continues the brand's approach to contemporary haute horlogerie complications.

The 44.5mm case is crafted from 18k white gold with a fixed bezel and sapphire crystal. Water resistance extends to 30 meters. The manual-winding caliber DB2105 movement provides a substantial 120-hour power reserve. The watch features a leather strap attachment.

This reference appeals to collectors seeking De Bethune's technical approach to timekeeping in a precious metal case. The extended power reserve and manual-wind operation position it for enthusiasts who appreciate hands-on interaction with their timepieces. The 44.5mm sizing places it in contemporary proportions within the independent watchmaking segment.

Reading your report, like usually, is almost as good as being there

I love that brand, they have a very interesting style, exceptional finish and a way to create those decorations in a world where a lot of them are very classical and look often the same. The Vision is an interesting novetly and the Signature as well. If I had a GF Flagship in Paris I would spend a lot of time visiting it. Thanks a lot for this enjoyable report Cheers, Mark
