Rosneathian challenges the conventional wisdom of luxury watch collecting by spotlighting the Frodsham Double Impulse Chronometer Wristwatch. This piece explores why a three-year waitlist for a truly rare, horological masterpiece might be a more rewarding pursuit than the often-discussed wait for mass-produced steel sports watches. Rosneathian prompts collectors to consider the value of exclusivity and artisanal craftsmanship over mainstream hype.

Why slog it out on a waitlist for a steel sports watch when you can wait a similar amount of time and be the proud owner of a truly rare piece of horological artistry?

Agreed on the waiting time but the price range is way different compared to a steel sports watch unfortunately.

Yes, you right. In my case i never was on a waiting list. But that have to do i order no Rolex. And, there are enough rare and special watches.
