LOS ANGELES, Saturday, February 25th, 2012 – Last night, Chopard celebrated the latest collaboration with the world of cinema during a star-studded pre-Oscars party. As Official Partner of the Cannes Film Festival and founder of the Chopard Trophy honoring young acting talents in Cannes every year, the Swiss jewelry and watchmaker is the official partner of The Weinstein Company's major 2012 events in connection with the most prestigious international awards ceremonies and film festivals. The collaboration started with a party held in Los Angeles on January 15th for the Golden Globe Awards, an after party in London for the BAFTAs on February 12th, and will be followed by parties at the Cannes and Venice Film Festivals.

Caroline Scheufele , Co-President and Artistic Director of Chopard, driving force behind the House's unique relationship with the world of cinema, commented on the collaboration: "I am very excited by this partnership, working together with The Weinstein Company means so much when you love cinema and its universe... I loved collaborating with Harvey on Nine in 2010 by creating High Jewelry pieces for the film characters and I am very excited by this new opportunity!""

Berenice Bejo, Georgina Chapman, Malin Ackerman, Missi Pyle, Penelope Ann Miller, Bar Refaeli, Dolores and Carmen Chaplin were some of the guests who sparkled in Chopard. Other guests included Meryl Streep, Jean Dujardin, Katy Perry, Michel Hazanavicius, Kenneth Branagh, Uggie, Kyle Maclaughlin, Andrea Riseborough, Casey Affleck, Busy Phillips, Tony Bennett, Brooklyn Decker, Juno Temple, James D'Arcy, Chace Crawford, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, Scarlett Johansson, Larry King, Elizabeth Olsen, Gerard Butler, Justin Bartha, Julia Ormond and Alicia Silverstone.
