holdemchamp1225 shares the heartwarming story behind a special Valentine's Day gift for his wife: a Chopard Urushi & Maki-E Plum Blossom & Butterflies in Raden. This post offers a unique glimpse into the personal connection collectors forge with their timepieces, especially when inspired by exclusive manufacture visits. His narrative highlights how a shared experience at the Chopard manufacture, including time with the Scheufele family, led to this thoughtful acquisition.

Cool story to this incoming for my wife.

We saw these amazing Japanese Urushi & Maki-E pieces during our Invitation to the Chopard manufacture and stay with the Scheufele family late last year. My wife commented on several of the lovely pieces which got me thinking. I offered her an amazing Japanese Urushi & Maki-E fountain pen a while ago and knew this Chopard Urushi & Maki-E Plum Blossom & Butterflies in Raden would be a great match.

Sometimes, things just work out nicely 😉

During our trip at the Chopard manufacture with KFS, who is the upitome of CLASS 👍👏

And believe me, I was thinking ahead as I thought if my wife didn't like this amazing Urushi piece, I could rock it myself 🤣🤣. Took this photo when I picked it up from Monaco a while ago but must say it looks 100x better on the red nubuck alligator strap 🔥

Congrats to your wife on her new addition. And definitely agree with you on the strap comment too.
