For people who love speed, sports or avant-garde design, this could be an exciting news.  The SuperFast 2012 Gold Editions, a complete redesign of the aesthetic and most importantly, all three models are with attractive Chopard open-work movements from Fleurier Ebauches.  This year, Chopard released the stainless steel case version of the 2012 editions, which may attract those who want a stylish fine watch and would be worn as a daily watch at a acceptable price for most occasions.

The three versions are SuperFast Automatic Steel at 41mm diameter case while the SuperFast Power Reserve Steel and SuperFast Chronograph are in larger 45mm steel case.  All have a long power reserve of 60 hours and water-resistant rating up to 100m.

Really appreciate this report and pictures. I like the steel version better too. It suits the industrial technical look of the movement better. Like it a lot. And the automatic is rather nice at 41mm. Its dial being relatively clean fits well with the very complex case and bezel design. I suppose it´s a watch that would not be tiresome to look at for a long time. And the movement finish is fantastic. So . It´s such a departure from my sport 2000 in steel I have. Which I love of course. Looking a

.....are more in keeping with the sporty racing automobile theme. The steel being polished with two textures, open fenestrated movement plates, darkened components, black dial and 'redline' highlights - all meld with the theme. Although the stark contrast between rose gold and black can be persuasive with competitors to the Chopard SuperFast like Audemars Piguet and Hublot, somehow we don't see that many rose gold sports cars! ;) No prizes for guessing that I prefer the steel versions because th

Hi Ramon Have to agree with you...the look should last, and your Sport 2000 is not bad either :-) Chopard is already at that high level (tier) of watchmaking long ago... it is just need to work on its brand equity. Thanks for viewing. Kong
