Friends,
While our dear moderator is off-line, letβs have a quick look at the Chopard L.U.C Lunar Big Date Chronometer.
First impression, this is a massive watch.
For being a dress watch it hold quite a large size, 42 mm in diameter 18-carat gold case (10.90 mm high).
The guilloche pattern is just fantastic,

I would disagree that this is a dress watch, per se β more a casual watch for those who prefer a leather strap. Bigger dial makes for greater legibility and decent size features without looking cramped or crowded.
But either way, it is a stunning watch! Best Blomman
Thank you for the shots Blomman Best wishes Alkiro
Great watch - but surely not a dress watch at 42mm The dial is a bit too busy for my liking (bit eye catching for sure) and the movement side is magnificent Thanks for posting
Thanks for sharing the watch and your opinions of it - not one we see often here I agree with the size, although the Chopard lug design goes some way in compensating for the size and making the watches wear a tad smaller.
I think Choprad managed to make all these functions co-exist quite well here! Best Blomman
