It highlights how collectors integrate these horological pieces into their daily lives and personal collections.
The thinness, the tonneau shaped micro rotor caliber, the little touches of red on the seconds track. Enjoy!
I love the look of this one. It's so elegant. Great example of another beaituful Chopard. A brand that shows good sense of design.
As I do too. And here is mine, a much older sibling of yours, also against Seattle skyline.
This, a Patek Chronometro Gondolo, 3 Reversos, a Roger Dubuis Sympathie S37, a Lange & Sohne Cabaret, a Parmigiani Kalpa…you get the drift. I had my eye on the original LUC Tonneau when it first came out, and it’s taken me this long to get a shaped Chopard. Yours still looks great, a couple of decades on!
Some object to the date window, but if you have to do it, this is a good way. I appreciate that the “6” is not cut off, but compressed. The lacquer work is also so good, it passes for grand feu enamel at first glance.
The strap is a bespoke beaver tail band pilfered from those I’ve had made for my ALS Cabaret.
