Has anyone here owned one of these watches? Thoughts? I love the design of pretty much everything from their lineup, but this one takes the cake for me and the sizing is quite reasonable vs their larger pieces.

...I haven't seen this one in person, but I wish the hands were easier to read against the dial background.

...my eyes aren't what they used to be, but even with reading glasses I don't want to work too hard to read the time.

How did it stack up to others in the same range you’ve experienced? IE gauthier or Greubel?

on the same occasion I also tried on De Bethune’s titanium Starry Varius and I loved it even more. Open work watches are amazing to see but I personally prefer the mechanical magic to be kept at the back of the watch. And I prefer wearability and elegance to technical display. A purely personal taste of course, but if I had been in a position to buy one of the two that day, I would have chosen the DB25, even if it’s a much simpler watch.
