The fume dial litterally transforms the a dial that lives up to the superb case. As for the date,yes,me too would have preferred without but in this case I can live with reality it is less disturbing as what the pictures might suggest.
...on a side note I went to the AP site to check it out. Faaar too much animation going on. It really slows down the page loads.
Even without a date I would not want the case to be all this is not a dress watch. The AP site is not yet showing these new fume dial versions....
...under the assumption that the case is unchanged. I would call this 'sporty-dress' if there were such a thing.
