Gerard (jlux) shares his Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Diver, highlighting its surprising comfort despite its robust dimensions. His post sparks a discussion among collectors about the wearability of the Offshore Diver, a perennial summer favorite that often challenges wrist sizes.

It's very frustrating because I think this is SUCH a cool watch. I've tried ROO Divers over and over again because I'm so attracted to them, but I just can't make them feel right on my skinny wrist. More power to you!
I am lucky that my wrist shape fits this watch very well ( I have other much smaller watches that are incompatible with my wrist ....).
Very chunky proportions. And indeed quite comfy!
Enjoy the watch and the summer!
My first AP was a 15710 Diver, and it is a great summer/vacation/sunshine watch. But it is still an Offshore. And that means chunky. That being said, I've had many Offshores that have come and gone, but I always come back to having one. Wear in good health, enjoy the sunshine.
Too big and chunky unfortunately for me, and that's why I let mine go, but missing it every summer 😔
