quattro's meticulous overview of early Audemars Piguet Millenary models offers a crucial look at the collection's foundational design language. Before its evolution into larger, sportier iterations, the Millenary presented a distinct dress watch aesthetic that remains highly relevant for collectors today. This article highlights the diverse complications and refined elegance that defined the series' initial offerings.

The first timepieces of the Millenary collection, which was introduced in 1995, had a very reasonable 39x35mm case size and were mainly classic and dressy in style (later they would become 47x43mm and more modern and sporty).

I find them really worthy of attention, so here are a few of them organised by increasing complication.

Enjoy and have a great week-end!

This does make me wonder whether AP would do a Remastered release of a Millenary in the future. That would be interesting.

post. Your deeper dives are great to read and see the wonderful pictures. Gives great attention to these less popular yet highly interesting models. Always a pleasure to read your work.

I concentrated on the dressy classic pieces, but there's so much more, for sure. Best, Emmanuel
