amanico introduces the Arnold & Son HM Pietersite, a standout novelty from Watches and Wonders 2026, highlighting its unique dial and refined mechanics. His initial impressions provide a valuable first look for collectors interested in distinctive, well-crafted timepieces from independent brands. This article serves as an excellent resource for those seeking detailed insights into new releases.

This is a true novelty from Arnold and Son, this HM Pietersite dial, in rose gold ( limited to 8 pieces ) and in steel ( only 18 pieces ), both sharing the same dial, the only difference is that the small round markers and hands are matching the color of the case.

Pietersite is the name of a stone discovered in Namibia, whose accents and hues are truly spectacular.

The case is 39, 5 mm big, 7, 82 mm high, which is very good, in my opinion, even if I would have preferred one or 2 mm smaller diameter, but not a big deal.

The movement is, as almost always with Arnold and Son, nice looking. Nicely decorated, it is manual winding, beating at 21, 600 vph, and offers a power an autonomy of 90 hours. It also has the good taste to be relatively thin, as it is only 2, 70 mm high.

As quite regularly now, Arnold and Son is a brand which doesn't disappoint. This Pietersite is quite interesting, and well, not too expensive, for what it is, in terms of quality: 16 K CHF, in steel.

This is a brand I love more and more, all along these last years, and the HM Pietersite is one of the very few watches which really caught my attention this year.

Best,

Nicolas

its nice to see they have fitted pearl dot minute markers and larger ones every 5 minutes i do like it-very much and there are two other options to choose from gold pietersite amber

The pietersite dial, the case shape, and the hands are all very charming. I also really like that it has a manual movement, even though I'm not particularly fond of the shape of the escapement and gear train bridge with the three "bumps" for the three jewels. And the price is indeed quite reasonable! Thank you for the discovery. Best, Emmanuel

Looks like a stunning piece. Thanks for bringing up for the forum's attention. Would have missed this otherwise.
