Gadalex's macro photography of the Andersen for Asprey World Timer dial offers a rare, detailed look at the intricate guilloché work. This post highlights the exceptional craftsmanship of Svend Andersen's atelier, particularly in its collaborative efforts. Baruch's close-up shots emphasize the unique texture and precision that define this independent watchmaker's recent output.

Last week I visited Asprey in London to photograph the new world timer made by the atelier of Svend Andersen. As is my custom in the presence of such a fine dial, I brought along kit to allow me some 2.5 times macros of the guilloche and an overall view of the dial. Of recent, Andersen has certainly been producing some very fine work as a stand alone independent and also in their collaborative efforts.

I have included a link with more press photos and information about the watch.

What many people don't know, is that I was involved in the design direction of this World Timer although it is not exactly as I want it, but really it is something special

I think they have been consistently releasing well designed watches over the last few years.
