1958 Omega Seamaster Chronometer, caliber 505 movement.

These photos have not been adjusted - they're straight off the camera.

Acquired early 2018, serviced by my watchmaker, and keeping acceptable time currently (~ -12 sec / day).  Omega replacement crystal and crown, otherwise original excepting mainspring.

This is a Jonell (American-made case) solid 14 kt yellow gold version of Omega's reference 2989 Seamaster Chronometer.  I've probably seen thousands of contemporary Constellations with the same movement; at the very most, perhaps twenty Seamasters.  Not rare, perhaps, but definitely uncommon.

Selling for $2100 net within the US, or $1900 outside our borders.  (The NOS Ω anaconda strap can't be sent overseas.)  Paypal is acceptable, wire or check preferred.  Shipping and Paypal fees are not included.  Please contact me with questions or requests for additional photos.

Cordially,

Art

Uncommon as well, Cap'n. Omega produced ~ 100K Constellations . . .

. . . between '55 and '60 with cal 501 and 505 chronometer movements fitted. Not sure how many I've come across either online or in the metal since I started collecting vintage Omega, but at least a thousand, probably more. Doubtful I've seen twenty Seama...

I will comply with your request sometime next week . . .

Do you remember the joke about the Italian couple . . .

. . . where the punchline is, "He no playa da game, he no maka da rules"? (It's about the Pope and sex.) Well, it's the same here. If I make the rules but don't play the game, that makes me a hypocrite. And there's nothing I hate more than a hypocrite.

Bravo!
