Seiko Epson also makes an amazing-sounding spring drive one, but Chopard's is so much more compact.
Yes, very impressive.
And, as it’s a unique piece, I would say that, to a certain extent, it’s made even more for the pure pleasure of free artistic creation than for the person who will buy it.
It’s completely exuberant and I certainly understand that you don’t like it.
I personally like that Chopard isn’t afraid to fully embrace the crazy spirit of the Día de los Muertos.
Like you, I tend to like this idea of remembering
the departed through festivities rather than mourning.
Yes, pain and even mourning can’t be avoided.
But it's good if they don't always have the last word.

I'll offer high praise to Chopard for this creation.
Lots of unique details. Of course it is not going to be for most buyers, but I applaud them for making it. We need more of this brashness in watchmaking!
