Very hi-beat - with the Chopard LUC 8HF ⏱️💓🏁
Since its launch I have been lusting after this one and while it took me many years to finally add it to the collection I am super happy to have found one finally. The black dial, ceramic and titanium cased version that came after was perhaps a tad more popular and was made in 250 pieces but I always had a slight preference for the original, frosted white dial version without the PR and the titanium case.
The Hi-Beat has been one of my collecting themes from the start and I have to say that the sound the 8Hz movement makes is both fully unique and mesmerizing.

Never thought I would say this but I actually miss wearing it .. That's quite a beauty you have there

The piece has been riddled with accuracy issues since the beginning but now Mr. Scheufele himself approved a change of movement so hopefully will get it back in a month or two

This watch was a transitional piece between the Tech Twist and modern Chopard design languages…
The date is probably a reflection of that, too 😊🤷🏻♂️
