Usually we like complicated watches BUT
...in this case, it is both simple and complicated.
The movement is quartz for reasons of size and convenience. That is the simple part as is the 'time only' function.
But it is also the complicated aspect because it harks to an Age when it was tactful NOT to look at one's watch dial uring an assignation. Then, we had montres a' tact and secret watches so we appeared not to be interested in the passage of Time.
The real complication is the special gem setting technique that I wlll show later when not on "simple" iPad
Also the exquisite secret click mechanism to open the hedgehog by his nose!
The current Mrs MTF who prefers mechanical watch movements saw the Chopard Secret Hedgehog and immediately loved him despite his quartz heart. I think it has something to do with his diamond vest and moonstone coat...no?
